Searching allows customers to find certain products that satisfy a set of criteria. In the Pioneer Cycling store, we implemented two types of searching—simple and advanced. Simple searches allow a customer to search the catalog for keywords. In an advanced search, a customer can also search using additional product attributes such as manufacturer, weight range, or part number.

An Order Confirmation is a written confirmation of an order which is sent by the producing or service rendering company that accepts the order placed by a purchasing customer. It serves as a tool to avoid confusion and mistakes in case the order does not conform to the original offer. Shopping carts bridge the gap between shopping and buying, so having the best shopping cart software is extremely important on your website.

It’s likely that those just starting out in the market may be unfamiliar with the concept. Wish lists are collections of desired products saved by customers to their user account, signifying interest without immediate intent to purchase.

Offering wish lists is an effective way to reduce shopping cart abandonment and fulfill sales from customers who showed intent but didn’t end up purchasing. Wish lists are mutually beneficial: they give customers an easy way to remind themselves of a product and help merchants measure product interest beyond a clear-cut sale.
